Dr. Judith F. Lewis, currently principal of Kensington-Parkwood Elementary School, has been named executive director in the Office of the Deputy Superintendent of Schools. The assignment was announced this week by Dr. Jerry D. Weast, superintendent of schools.

As executive director, Dr. Lewis will assist the deputy superintendent of schools, Dr. James A. Williams, in managing the work of the Office of Instruction and Program Development, the Office of Staff Development, the Department of School Safety and Security, and the Department of Family and Community Partnerships, among other duties and responsibilities.
