STAFF DIRECTIONS: This form is for school staff to provide a Student Service Learning (SSL) Opportunity to middle or high school students during the day or virtually/remotely. The school must follow the guidelines outlined below and must complete BOTH pages of this form in order for the opportunity to be reviewed and approved.
The school must ensure that the service meets the Maryland Seven Best Practices of Student Service Learning and must include the three core components: Academic Preparation, Service Action, and Structured Reflection.
