Paint Branch High School is the first high school in the state to be recognized as a Safe Schools Maryland Gold School. The school completed the requirements to be named a Maryland Gold School in the spring of 2021.
WHAT: The Paint Branch school community will be recognized for its Gold School status accomplishments with a formal ceremony. State officials will present the school with a celebratory banner.
WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: Paint Branch High School, 14121 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville

- Dr. Afie A. Mirshah-Nayar, Principal, Paint Branch High School
- Kate Hession, Executive Director of the Maryland Center for School Safety
